Penreach boldly stepping into the future with Mpumalanga's teachers

From coding to robotics, artificial intelligence and immersive technologies, Penreach will boldly step into the future of technology-supported education with teachers and school leaders from our most under-resourced communities. This was the key message delivered by Penreach CEO, Mr Andile Ncontsa, at the Annual Penreach Awards 2019, held on 30 November at Penryn College, and attended by more than 1 000 pre-school, primary school and high school teachers and principals.

The annual awards ceremony by Penreach celebrates educators who diligently and passionately work towards delivering quality education in our communities. These teachers are participants in one or more of the Penreach programmes early childhood development, numeracy and literacy, maths and science, sport coaching or school leadership. Teachers attend Penreach Teacher Development Workshops throughout the year working towards their own skills and professional development in over 35 different subject areas.
